--Our purchasing policy will follow the "5R" principle:
No.1 Right Price
--Price is the sensitive focus in purchasing campaign forever. One of main points that enterprise cared for most is how much money can be saved.
--Getting quotation: Getting quotation channels as many as possible. This does not only
demand distribution suppliers to quote but also ask some new suppliers to quote.
--
Comparing price: As the saying goes "Comparing goods in three stores". The contained items are often different in the price lists of suppliers. So purchasers can compare the items of price lists that are offered by different suppliers only when they are changed on the same level. Only do like that, can we gain the true and creditable results.
--Negotiating price: After comparing price, we can sieve and get two to three suppliers of the most profitable price.
--Fixing a price: After above-mentioned links, the price that is accepted by buyers and sellers is regarded as the formal purchasing price in the future. It should maintain two to three suppliers' quotation that may be identical or different.
No.2 Right Quality
--It should arrange some time to promote suppliers to improve and stabilize the quality of products during daily purchasing work. The products that cannot attain the value of use will be rejected.
No.3 Right Time
--It will cause internal confusion if raw material hasn't arrived on schedule when enterprise has already made the production plan. It can arouse customers' strong dissatisfaction when the products cannot be dispatched according to the order. Otherwise, if raw material are bought much earlier and kept in storage waiting for production, it will cause too much stock and let a great deal capital lie idle. This is the matter that enterprise avoids as a taboo. Therefore the suppliers of raw material should deliver the goods on time.
No.4 Right Quantity
--Although purchasing in batches may get quantity discount, it also can tie up purchasing capital. On the other hand, it won't satisfy production needs if the quantity is too small. So it is the key point to determine the purchasing quantity. Normally it should measure purchasing quantity according to the economic order. Purchaser should not only supervise suppliers to deliver punctually, but also to deliver the goods according to order quantity.
No.5 Right Place
--"Timeliness is not as good as land productivity". Enterprise is often easy to get initiative when cooperating with the suppliers of nearer distance. It is much better to choose close ones when enterprise selects some suppliers to implement experimental units. The supply of close quarter not only makes buyers and sellers communicate more conveniently and handle affairs swiftly, but also reduce logistical cost.
